Terms of service

Last updated 6 August 2026

The agreement

These terms are a contract between you and Telescope Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom (“Eyedropper”, “we”). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you’re using Eyedropper for a company, you accept them on the company’s behalf.

The service

Eyedropper builds a design system from sources you provide — code repositories you connect, images you upload, or a website address you give us to analyze — then stores it and serves it to your projects, teammates, and AI coding agents through the web app, the command-line tool, and the MCP endpoint. Image and website analysis is performed by automated AI systems. We may improve or change features over time; we won’t remove your ability to export your design system.

Your account

You sign in with GitHub or Google. Keep control of that account — activity under your sign-in is your responsibility. You must be at least 16 and able to form a contract.

Your content

The code you connect, the images you upload, the websites you submit for analysis, and the design systems Eyedropper extracts from them are yours. You grant us the license needed to operate the service — to store, process, and serve that material to you, your team, and the tools you connect, including passing images and website screenshots to our AI analysis providers to perform the extraction you requested. We claim no other rights to it, and we don’t use it to train AI models. You promise you have the rights to the code, images, and websites you point Eyedropper at.

Plans, billing, and cancellation

  • The free plan covers one design system, one project, and one person. Paid plans are billed monthly per team through Stripe.
  • Founding member pricing is locked for as long as the subscription stays active. Otherwise we may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice, effective from your next billing cycle.
  • Cancel anytime from your billing settings; your plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for. Amounts already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
  • On any plan, at any time, you can export your design system as DESIGN.md and standard design-tokens JSON. Your system is never trapped here.

Acceptable use

Don’t break the law with the service, upload code or images you have no right to share, point the website analysis at sites or systems you have no right to have analyzed, probe or disrupt our infrastructure, resell the service, or attempt to access other customers’ data. Analysis features are rate-limited; don’t try to circumvent those limits. We may suspend accounts that do.

Our property

The Eyedropper software, site, and brand are ours. These terms don’t transfer any of that to you beyond the right to use the service while these terms are in force.

Availability and support

We aim to keep Eyedropper reliably available but offer no uptime guarantee on these plans. Support is by email at chris@buildgreatproducts.com, best effort.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is”. Extracted design systems and AI-verified generations are produced by automated analysis and may contain mistakes — review what you ship. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability under these terms is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Termination

You can stop using Eyedropper and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms; where practical we’ll warn you first and give you the chance to export your data.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially, we’ll email account holders at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales.
